Small lake in the back of my P5

i don't know if anyone else has had this problem but my p5 is leaking water somewhere into the rear of my car. i would maybe not mind it too much but the last couple days we have had a lot of rain and my rear passenger seat is literally DRIPPING and has a small pool of water beneath it. :wtf: no i don't have my windows open a bit or anything. it seems like the leak might be coming from the wheel well cause the roof is dry and i don't see any signs of a leak on the windows.
has anyone had this problem before? i am going to take it in to the dealership tomarrow and see what they say but this really is pissing me off.

There's another thread on this...Those of us that have "the leak", we have it in the extreme left hand sunken part of the trunk, right behind the brake lights.

Good luck at the dealer, the couldn't find the problem - but the problem hasn't come back either. (I put the hose/sprinkler on the car and couldn't find it either)

OMG my nieghbor has / had that exact problem ... that is weird .. and he thought it was water still in there from when they brought it over on the boat LOL ... im gonna have to tell him others have this .. i posted info on this a long time ago and no one replied .. so that far left part in the trunk is where it got him and he tried the hose too and nothing .. its got to be from the wheel well when driving. its getting in there some how this is weird s***

There's a TSB on the tailight leak, can't find the link right now, though. It says it is a body seam behind the rear taillights. Mine leaks but not bad enough to trace the source. I just pulled the little plug out of the "sump" just in front of the tailight where the water collects so it can always drain. Other cars with sunroofs often drain water into this area so I'm not too concerned.

Not sure about the passenger seat area leak, though, you should probably get on top of that one before stuff gets too waterlogged.

just got my car back from the dealer and sure enough the rear passenger tailight was leaking....i told them about the TSB and apparently that helped them out. got it all fixed up and i am back in my P5.
About the TSB, yeah it is about rear-ended crash cars but apparently it applies to all of our cars. so if you have got problems just go hit up your dealer and mention this TSB: MT000003245. you can check out TSB's here: Protege Club FAQ: TSB's

Thanks much...In fact...I was rear-ended last week...but the leaking was there before that. Taking the car in for insurance quote on Friday...
