SLS Performance Front Motor Mount

Yeah, that nut can be pretty tough if it's stuck. I only weigh 125 lbs and could not get it off, even after soaking it with PB Blaster. A guy in a shop took it off for me by bracing against a wall and using a huge pipe on a long breaker bar. Other than that, it's an easy install.

and i fixed the insert, i just had to push on it differently. so hopefully soon i can get it in...i dont have a breaker bar though so i might go get one. are there torque specs for it?
There are no torque specs for the center bolt, but the ones on the base are 50-68 ft-lbs.

I dont know if its gonna be stiff enough, probably not, see if you can find an aluminum pipe or something, thats what I used.

hm.... idk where to get one because i dont have one and i dont wanna spend like 10 bux on a pipe :( maybe i'll see if my friend can get it lose w/ his breaker bar.

yeah, I mean I have a lot of crap laying around here so I just make do with what I can lol, the breaker bar should help though.

Probably a fan, if you're serious about your laptop. lol I honestly can't think of what you meant to say, if not that.

a breaker bar worked miracles for me. the first mount job i did, i used a conventional ratchet set and i spent almost an hour and 1/2 gettin the 3 bolts off. used a breaker for the side mount and it took no time at all

pvc work fine?

Hahaha. No, PVC will not work.

Just go to Home depot in the plumbing area and buy a length of steel pipe. Shouldn't be more than a couple of bucks.

Yes the price of the mounts went up slightly, we let the overstock sale run alot longer than expected.
None of the front mounts have our logo on them due to once installed you can't see the mount anyway. None of them should be scratched these are all new mounts and all powdercoated so any minor scuffs and scratches should easily polish out due to the powder coating being alot harder and more durrable than any paint.
If the urethane bushings are not tight to the mount you can simply push it in. These are pushed in 2 parts (one for each side) so they can be removed and replaced by just about anyone.

this one has a sticker....
