Sleezer1533's 2005 Impreza 2.5RS GC

Did a fuel system cleaning today at work. Hand cleaned all the carbon out of the throttle body (Man was that dirty), did the intake drip into booster line, and finished up with injector cleaner in with the fuel.

Car had a hard time taking all the cleaner in, idled hard and almost died a couple times, thats never happened to me before on any car Ive done it on, but after taking in about half the can and filling the store with a rotten egg smell, my suspicions are confirmed that my cat is pretty clogged. Need to finished off the exhaust and get the header and HFC pipe to eliminate that old cat. But first I need to get a timing belt kit and a winter wheel/tire setup.

Anyway, def. noticed a difference in the car, not a crazy improvement but definitely more eager in acceleration for sure. Need to see if my MPGs improve at all as well.

why aren't you using your stock wheels for winter wheels?? they're what every other suby uses for winter wheels?? I know my girls WRX are stockers for winter. Anyways, my STi was running the stock BBS's for the winter.

Needless to say, congrats! hope you like it tons. I found change under my shifter too. And there's more rattles and bumps I hear daily, need to fix them. My FMIC piping is banging around I think.

If you're in new york, you should consider coming to the OC(MD) AWD meet in june. My company is a part sponsor for it! There's gonna be over 500 cars probably.

well Im going to rock the stock ones in summer till I get a nice set

And Ill def have to think about attending that meet, still a meet virgin even with my old protege :p

Decided to add a few more accessory outlets, so I got all my mod stuff out and went to town ...

What doo we have here?

...Oh hello
2012-04-09_18-52-21_88.jpg

Came out pretty good, things could have been a bit cleaner and aligned properly but oh well

All I need is to figure out how to wire it in. Im thinking I can wire it into the stock plug. By assuming that the red and black wires coming out of the plug are the main power wires (red being positive and black being negative) I can wire the the outlets into there (black wire with white stripe being positive and plain black being negative). Will this work out??

Alright so I got the shifter trim piece wired up and back in place. First, the little red light was distractingly bright and the faceplate to the three accessory outlets I added popped the glue I used to hold it down since its under a bit of tension. So I took it back out, added two small screws to hold the face plate in, not a clean looking as before but now it will never come loose. And added a couple coats of niteshades to the bulb to hopefully dim it down a bit ... then got bored and well ...

Waddaya think?

Other than that not much is different. Going to be ordering the Tsudo UEL header and high flow cat pipe in the next couple weeks.

How long have you had em? Im fine with going with a cheaper brand Im not the type to need some high end brand just for the name, my main concern is longevity

Good to know. I got some suggestions over at nasioc so Ill add racelands in to the list to consider when it comes time to get a set
