SO NOT!Dr.Sound said:hey, it's easy enough just to reach from under the passanger side and plug the thing in, right?
The car is pre-wired, according to the installer. He had installed 45 min. after I dropped off the car. Did you not get the free installation certificate?II-Savy said:So you ran that thick data cable all the way to the radio from the trunk? (wow)
Crock said:OK folks, the tuner I got is a SIR-KEN1 model.
goku4658 said:I got a call. They said mine would come in 2 to 5 business days. I didn't order till around January I think.
Crock said:I got it installed and activated. So far so good. It's really great being able to tune radio stations and not hear the crappy chatter of lame DJ's and morning shows.
For a trial period I'm keeping the antenna inside the car. So far it works fine. I doubt I'll be mounting it outside the car.
II-Savy said:That's cool. The first line in my directions is:
"The antenna has a magnetic base and must be installed on a conductive metal surface on the outside of the vehicle."
I have the Terk SIR-Mini
goku4658 said:just got mine today...woot! where'd you mount the tuner crock? how long does this take?
II-Savy said:I'm not Crock but I installed mine under the pass seat with the velcro. It's solid and does not move around when spirited driving. The whole process really didn't take that long.
