I've actually been wanting to do matte gray for awhile, I just can't find a paint that I like enough.

I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to find something between gray and gunmetal. May have to check into powder coating.

Oooo, that would be slick. Maybe paint the rims black with a yellow stripe around the very outside, and then paint the calipers yellow while they're off...

I just found a gray that I think will fit the bill. I bought some Duplicolor Engine Enamel, color is called "Ford Gray".

Wont you have to bake the paint though since it engine enamel?

I'm going to decide on whether I'm gonna do a clear or not after I apply the gray. I think it will be a semi-gloss, which honestly I'd be happy with.

I found that that stuff is pretty glossy, may not need a clear coat, I would throw one on anyway though just for protection

If it's glossy anyways then I'll throw another coat of clear for durability. I'll post pics tomorrow.
