The main reason I even got these was that they were on sale for $80 each a couple of months ago @ Tire Rack. I'm liking them a lot. They are quieter than the stock tires and ride better. The aggressive look of the tread blocks goes well with the car and rims as well. As far as traction, I think they have less dry traction than the Potenzas (when new) do in a straight line, maybe a tad less when cornering, but they give better feel. Wet traction is no contest... worn down UHPs are probably better than the Potenzas in the wet. I'm not sure they will last as long as the Potenzas did for me. I went over 19k miles on the stock tires, and tread depth still measures to 4/10ths.
I might be going to Canada Thursday - Saturday for work. And there's also HIN (or NightShift or whatever it's called now) on Friday and Saturday in Austin. So between the two, I'll be back in town sometime Saturday afternoon or evening and I'll swing by to help out with your car.
Thanks man. After seeing them on your car all Saturday night, I'm sold. I want a set now, too, lol.
