Can anyone who has done this mod please show pics or tell me where you went through to run your wires for light on side...Thanx

the rewire for having your sidemarker lights stay on and blink. I know how to , I just was wondering were everyone who has done it ran there wire through the fender.......

They already blink... came stock like that! The rewire is to have them light up with your parking lights and blink also when you put your turn signal on.... My question is where did anyone who has done this run there new wires through the fender well... Thats all ... just noticed we have the same taste....

did you have to undo the fender skirt to run the wires... and also I found out that all you really have to do is take your ground from your sidemarker and tap it into the trigger wire which is the light green with black stripe. It will show ground untill you hit your turn signal and thats what makes it go in and out .

You don't have to undo your fender skirt, but it does make it easier. Just pop out 2-3 push-clips and you should be fine per side. I did the same mod to my 2002.5 P5 (using the amber parking light on the bumper).

This is very true. Just cut the ground (-) at the light and run it to the (+). No need to do anything other than that.

well i'm guessing that i have to open the fender well....thought maybe there would be an easier way to fish the wire through. Hey T3ase make sure you tag the light green one b/c the other dark green is whats already there dark green is constant and light green is trigger..stays ground when no signal and turn to 12v when using signal.. Don't know why Mazda did this ,always making things difficult.....

I guess no one has info on what they had to do to run the wires from the sidemarker to the parking light...

So let me great this right. I have a MSP and all i have to do to have my side markers turn on with my parking lights and blink when i turn on my turn signal is just pop out the side marker, cut the ground and splice the ground wire into the positive side of the side marker???

Yes, Just make sure it the light green wire. b/c its the trigger wire. You already have the dark green attached....
