damn..how to i write in the same post with the pics?? dont like the new way. anyway that was about 8k in damage. front strut totally rebuilt, door replaced, quarter panel, front bumper. got hit on the side, then hit a car from the front.

Heres mine. A few months after I got the car, some drunk idiot in a cavalier side swiped me.

She even tried to drive away..she got 133 feet down the road before she lost her passanger side tire. I didnt have my car for 2 months and when I got it back I had to take it back because they did a horrible paint job, my passanger door handle fell off in my hand when I tried to open the door, the dorr wasnt hung right so I had to lift it up to close it, I was driving on a bad axle, they finally replaced it and a year later I find out that it wasnt even for my car so I had a new one installed.

So this is why it costs so much for me to insure my mazda... every accident hurts the cars insurance rating and the P5 does have one of the higher insurance ratings due to its marketed age bracket and low production volume. Making parts harder to come by and repair jobs very expensive. My car was gone for 3.5 weeks while they waited for parts to arrive. I'm still waiting for them to give me a new polished rim. The one they replaced on my car currently looks like it was only half polsihed and looks awful compared to the other rims..

I would have rather had someone hit my car in a parking lot. Then my insurance rate wouldn't be on its way up. No fault insurance in MI = its your fault, unless your not in the vehicle (basically). Because my car was hit in a hit and run, I get to pay the deductible and have my insurance jacked up $300+ every 6 months...

Wow, both wheels, thats pretty impressive. I had a truck throw a cinderblock at me last december which I ran (well bounced) over with my front wheel. Then it slid across the car and put a 3" fold in the rear stabilizer bar for good measure. The tire was fine and the rim only had a minor scuff on the inside of it (and now that rims completely gone due the the accident 2 months later). Guess the dunlops are of good quality and so are those factory rims (pow) .
