Cool. Thanks. I'm worried about going <45 on the tire because it won't provide the comfort. Did you have stock 17's or 19's? I have 17's so this will certainly sit higher. Will it be too high? Should I be concerned about the speedometer/odometer differences?

I have a GT so 19".

Agree to some extent. Mesh style wheels are common on any forum from my observations. I went with the Rohana wheels for several key differences:

- +32 offset, more aggressive look, most people went +40 or higher
- Concave face, other mesh styles on this forum are not concave i.e. TSW Donningtons
- 7 split spokes, not 8 or more like the others - more aggressive look with less spokes IMO
- Low pressure cast, reasonably light wheels - not gravity cast like most
- other small differences such as type of matte black, lug hole sizes, edge finish, etc
- Price - My local wheel shop (Arandas) gave me a great deal, ~$300+ less than best internet pricing

I think with such offset, you need put these over wide fenders. IMHO.

In Japan, a lot of owners of CX-5 with wheels offset from 40 and less use of these items. )))

If you buy them it in auction (and sometimes its present there), then delivered via Japan EMS will not critical expensive.
I agree, this is not the cheapest item, but nonetheless....

If I had 20x10 wheels with 275 tires, I would get the flares. The 255s with 20x9 wheels don't stick out that much. It looks similar to a BMW X5, X6 or range rover with OEM upgraded wheels. They stick past the fenders a bit. My pics show particular angles but in person they look flush. Most people go +40 offset which is only 8mm difference from my setup. This difference equals 0.314961 inches. Tampa's setup with 20x10 +40 technically stick out .18 inch farther then mine (1 inch / 2 = 1/2 inch -.31 = .18 inch). He didn't take too many angled pics so it wasn't as noticeable. I've become pro at offset + wheels width fitments over the last few weeks (lol2)

So I decided to try it, Gun Metal Plasti-Dip (Home Depot $8 p/can) picked up a bunch, just used about 3 cans only. Came out okay, not as dark as I expected, but hey I can just peel it off when I get tired.

Here's my winter setup. Mazda 3 wheels with Blizzak DM-V1 snow tires. I also swapped out the black center cap from the OEM wheels and kept my black lugs, as always.

I picked up a set of used P235/65 Blizzacks mounted on 18x8 Sport Edition KV5's. Got the whole setup for only $200.
Put 'em on today as the snow was coming down.
They have much better snow traction than the stock Yoko's and I really like how the rims look.

They actually do look great as a winter set up. I assume that you couldn't choose a thinner size because of the great deal you had with the 235's?

That's exactly right.
The funny thing is I had already bought a new set of 215x17 Blizzacks to put on the OEM rims.(hand)
Oh well, I'll just keep 'em in the shed and put them on when the Yoko's wear out.
I'm thinking the used 235's will be about done after this winter, so the KV5's might just be my summer wheels next year.

Wow, that looks really good. Do those wheel have a better offset than the stock wheels? Meaning do they sit more flush with the fenders?

@Even Steven, I think the 19 "wheel have an ET 50, the reason why the tyre has more flush with the fender is the 235 tyre (instead of the OEM 225....)

Got my TSW Mallory put on couple weeks back. Love them. They're 20x8.5 with +40. They're wrapped in Nitto Motivo rubber, 245/45/20. The Nittos have tad bit more road noise, but offer good handling.

Now I just gotta get it lowered and tinted.

Looks good. Not played out when compared to the highly/overly common and unattractive stock 17's.
