Should I undo these mods before adding a turbo?

I have an '08 N/A 2.3 and want to add a turbo. I want to know if anyone suggests undoing these mods before going through with it.

Ignition Timing Advance - Monzta's Timing Mod

VTCS Removal - my only concern with this one is that on cold starts it jumps to about 1700 RPM then settles to normal idle within a minute....but then I've read that many MS3's idle high on cold starts. I'm just not sure how that would affect the components in a turbo system.

Thanks in advance.

I'm really new to these cars, but I'd say timing advance will need to come off for sure, and I would imagine any decent turbo system is going to either provide a tuning package that will retard timing with boost based on maps in a a flash for your ECU they include with the kit, or require you to do this yourself with an external system ( more money ). I don't know what the second component is in your mod list, but if it's stock and you disabled or removed it, I'd say it will likely go back to stock. You might be better off deciding how much you want, or are willing to spend and contact a vendor like Ken at Protoge Garage with these questions.
