not sure they'll fit? my 6i came stock with 6x8 speakers and i'll be replacing them with 5.25 comps with adapter brackets. i dont think 6.5's will fit in a 6x8 hole with any adapter available. unless your doing something more custom?

A 6.5 will fit you can either make the adapter or get the metra adapter I did this in my p5 and I am doing the same in my 6s. Check out build project sound q I will post a pic of the metra plates as well as the custom ones. Just dynamat the doors so you get better mid bass response.
