Shoudl I get a MP3 ECU from here?

So I went to junkyarddogs.com and did the search for a MP3 ECU. Then I get a call from these people http://www.neographis.ca/ProAutotronics/ He says he has one. But dont know......what you guys think?

i've had 3 mp3 ecu's. Every single person told me an ECU is a YES / NO (works / doesn't work) situation. Definitely not the case! Ask if it was flood damaged. You can also search for valid serial numbers to have him verify.

ok so there should be a serial # on the ECU? Not just the model #?
