Sho's 7th Mazda!

Congratulations on your wedding @bigsho!

On the other hand, always sad to hear when a community member passes away, RIP Evan.

Excellent post though, not only updating us on your CX-70 experience but life as well...Congratulations once again and wishing you the best!

The wife went down to KY in her 3 last weekend for a baby shower and had a few instances where her phone lost reception and couldn't use maps. So hopped on Amazon and ordered 2 $28 navigation sd cards since the 25 mz3 and cx70 apparently use the same cards. Got em both and put them in both vehicles. Maps work as intended and the added bonus of the speed limit signs being put on the guage cluster (although not always accurate) is nice!

That certainly looks like you must have gotten a good workout!

How's the CX-70 handling the snow and winter conditions?

On proper snow tires it'd be a beast. On the factory 19" toyo's, it did fine. Can definitely tell its RWD biased, but its playful and well balanced. Easy to make corrections if needed! Waiting for a proper snowfall to find an empty parking lot to really mess around in with TCS off and in sport mode. As one thing I did notice isnt very responsive in normal mode for holding a slide lol.

Anyone gets this PCM/TCM update yet? Looks like its supposed to deal with a battery balancing code issue p0DAB code.

I have one more free oil change left at the dealership. Probably will take it in early Jan or end of December and see if they mention anything about this.

Saw mention of this update on fb and on another forum as well...

Some more info on MSP66. From my understanding if you bring in your car for service and it falls within the VIN ranges specified below, they'll replace the 48v hybrid battery if youre throwing a p0DAB code. If not throwing the code, they'll flash the PCM and TCM with an update.

Went in for service today and they did perform the MSP66 Update. Guess my car didn't require the TCM relearn.

Have driven about 100 miles today running errands and such and left i-stop ON so far just to see if any difference.

The handoff from engine off to back on at highway speeds is definitely a hell of a lot smoother. Almost unnoticeable. Even though my vehicle didn't get the TCM relearn procedure, I have noticed that gears 1-3 do rev out 2-3mph more under light/normal acceleration compared to before, resulting in smoother take-off and shifts.

Will update in the future once I get some more miles on it. May leave i-stop on now for the time being as ive driven with it OFF for the past 17k+ miles and see if I can tolerate it lol.
