I might have the record.

47 hours between buying it and totalling it.
(dodge dakota quad cab rams me from behind at a stop light at 35mph).

Mind you Ive owned 2 other 3's and will probably buy another as soon as I can if they total it (which I believe they will because of frame damage).

Any other similar stories?

Im hurting and sore, and seems to be increasing slightly by each day although I hope its just muscle pain, so I wouldnt say im not hurt, but it could have been a LOT worse for my family.

I will get another 3, question is used or new (heaven forbid they try to stick me with a "repaired" version of this thing)

It wasn't totalled, but 90 minutes after I bought my new 91 Talon TSi AWD, I crested a hill in a residential section and watched as a dumbass woman turned left in front of me. I veered right to try and miss her, but I bounced off her right front fender, and her front bumper drug all the way down the side of my car. $6500 damage, 90 minutes of ownership. 6 months later, I hit a deer on the interstate. I sold it as soon as it was fixed the second time. JINXED car.

90 minutes nice ;-)

I dont know if really have a winner if you know what I mean...because in the end we all probably lost ;-(

WELP!

Scratch me off this list, the bastards at progressive are going to repair this car with 10k worth of damage. What a bunch of loonies.

The least you could do is try to convince them to total it. I mean after a crash/repair like that I deff. wouldnt want it back... All you can do is try, i mean if they dont give in what do you lose???

They way I calculate it, the diminutive value of a wrecked car vs non wrecked come sale or trade in time is 10-40%. If I bargain at 20%, thats a check for over 3k I SHOULD be getting imo.

Im going to fight them for that (and also see the difference in the mazdaspeed rear bumper is since im having to get the whole assembly)
