short shifter recommendations?

time for another mod,, need some opinions though. (hear ya)

I've read positive reviews of both of these products:

E4P Short Shifter - $125.00 (+25.00 for PG Shifter Weight, +$20.00 for RKM Shifter Base Bushings), or order all three for a discounted price of $160.00.

or

TWM Short Shifter - $250.00 on one site (twice the price of the E4P brand......... is it worth it???). $200.00 on the actual TWM site, plus $20.00 for base bushings and $40.00 for shifter weight,, total of $260.00 for all three parts.

what do u think, is one product superior to the other?

or is anyone here using a a different manufacturer's product than listed above?

get a short shifter plate, cheaper and quicker install option

I got an E4P recently, and it works great. Saw lots of positive reviews for it, too. The most time was poking the 3 tabs apart holding in the shifter. Rest is a snap.

I want to get the shifter weight still.

If you get a short shifter plate, make sure if its the kind that does not rub the shifting linkage book. That is a common thing, but I think the newer revisions are good. Best part, is that no more hitting drinks with the shift knob.

depends what ur lookin for. base bushings does nothign really. and if u wanna go the cheap route go for a shift plate. if u wanna spend a little bit more get a e4p. 75bux for a small peice a flat metal seems a bit outrageous. i have the e4p an its dialed man.

ive got the TWM SS with bushings. Its been on for 10k w/ no issues. Very descriptive directions too. I dont know much about the e4p,so i cant comment.

im on the market for a short shifter too ep4 and twm are the only two you can actually buy right now, i wish cobb was still around.

twm have a sale too right now, ss for 175$ and bushings for 20$ which is really good

ep4 is good too i only heard good thing about it but a lot of my friends who ordered stuff from PG said that their shipping is not that good, one of the guys from my car meet said that he ordered a part and never got it, i personally never ordered from them so cant say nothing for my self

the shift plate for 60 or 70 $ is a rip off IMO, you can make one ur self for 10$

so im thinking ep4 too but i also like the twm
