Shops in Calgary

Rims are 3 seasons old, I got my machine work done at presice engine rebuilders, and for fuel management I'm running a Haltech Standalone.

Hence the "guru"... Do you tune your car as well? Or do you have somebody else do it? Does the haltech have it's own software that you can hook up a laptop to?

I know I'm asking alot of questions Maxx, but I hope you'll bear with me....

I'm trying to see if I can get part numbers for engine internals, so I can see if my cousin in cali can get me a better deal than what I've got going now... which is none. Will you give some specs and #'s off what you're running for rods and pistons?

The fact that I've gone through 4 sets of Arias already... Also I find alot of the machined edges to be really sharp and not chamfered.

And I've heard about issues with the squirters and arias as well. Did you contemplate wiseco before going with CP?

Yes, but Wiesco refuses to make a piston for us in 8.5:1 ratio anymore, so I went custom CP. It's my own custom profile.

The Arias squirter issue was fixed LONG ago.

yo maxx where is the shop that works on ur car in calgary ? how much for pistons and rods

I do lots of work on the Calgary Protege's. I've done a shitload of stuff for rmak_14, and I'm building an engine for FunkyBuddha.

yeah i might be lookin into a rebuild eventually i was thinkin of getting an ems soon too is haltech the best? and do you know a good place that has cheap rotors and pads? or should i just go to the dealership

lol i just dont wanna end up with bad rotors and pads cuz ebay has ****** me over in the past

I bought brakes from Tri-Point and it was under half the cost of what the dealership quoted me, and for better parts.
