Shopping around for a clutch for my truck, need suggestions.

My mechanic recommends that I buy a Toyota clutch for my 1996 Tacoma, but the dealer wants $280 for the kit. Ive seen Exedy and ASCO/Aisin around the net for about $150 for the kit. He is charging $200 labor, so I can buy whatever clutch I want.

What would you recommend?

Who sells them? Is it a performance clutch? Im just looking for a regular ol clutch, nothing fancy, just one that will last long.
