Shift knob.

I just bought and put on a MoMo race carbon shift knob into my MP3.. it feels /looks great! It goes PERFECTLY well with the carbon fiber trim in the interior!There was a little self modding to actually put the shift knob to the correct height. plus a little self modding to keep the shift boot from sagging... but it wasnt too much of a hassle

Ye you change the shift nobe to hehe, ye it's a hassle , i had trouble with shift boot to so it was like 1 inch dawn from the shift know so i super glue it hehe

you superglued it?! lol! O well just as long as it works.. haha I actually followed one of the DIY mod instructions from a WRX site.. i opened the whole cover for the transmisission part and squezed my hand under to put a zip tie around the stick just under the top of the shift boot so it doesnt slide down now

what site did you use to find how to do it? or if you know can you please explain. thanks i want to replace my shift knob but the boot sags and superglue is not what i want to do

here it is.. now u will know better of what im talking about... but NOTE: the pictures are of a WRX.. so the screws and stuff are diff... but just to get the idea.. theres 4 screws that holds the gear box down... i was only able to lossen 2...because the other 2 is unreachable with a screw driver.. well anyways u will know wut i mean when u open it up... so i onyl lossened 2 screws and reached my hand under blindly... i only put ONE zip tie.. in oppose to wut the picture looks like. good luck
