I did this 2 weeks ago and really like the difference it made in the shifter, almost all (90%) of the Spongebob rubberyness is gone. Essentially does the same thing as the solid bushings but still offers some isolation against vibration. Plus if you are lazy like me, you can do this mod without the hassle of taking your entire shifter assembly out. No tools required!!! (yes)

Has anyone tried the epoxy method on other cars? Seems that the epoxy might breakdown after a while resulting in cracks and pieces of epoxy bouncing around under your console. Probably just messy. btw, seems like the fix may be the best of both worlds keeping the vibration out but maintaining crisp shifting.

nice

Installed the TWM shifter bushings in both my car and a friends car. He says the shifting is so easy now. I also agree. In conjunction with the AWR motor mount, shifting feels totally precise and crisp.

(wow)
