Hi!
I have had some contact with my dealer about some things since I got my new 2008 Mazda 5. I still have some accessories to be installed in my car so I asked them if they could install a pair of system speakers in the front doors at the same time. I told him I didn't know what size the original speakers are so he promised to get back to me. I got an e-mail today from my dealer and he told me that he had talked to a whole lot of people if they knew the size of the speakers. He even spoke to Mazda Motor Sweden to get the information. No one knew what size it is. Now he has promised to talk to the workshop to see if they can remove a doorpanel of a Mazda 5 in the auto shop and measure the speaker just because of me asking if they could help me install some better speakers. He will even call a car audio shop they engage for audio installements in Mazda cars.
What I want to say is that the dealer is very service minded. It's no surprise that they sell most Mazda of all dealers in Sweden. I just hope everyone will have the same treatment from their dealers as I have had. But yes, they should of course have this information at hand from the beginning but that wasn't the case. I'm still happy with the effort my dealer puts on my issue.
At last, now I happen to know that the speaker size is 5x7" or 6x8" but I haven't told the workshop that yet. (evil) I'm curious in how long it takes for them to find out the information.
What are your experiences in customer treatment from dealer?
Bye!
