dunno if that's fixed on your end yet but it's blazing fast for me here.

I think it was a first gen token ring connection (4mbps) shared with eleventy billion other servers before.

for me (I use Opendns.com's DNS servers for my network), www.msprotege.com seems to still be pointing to the old server but www.mazdas247.com (the domain I use all the time anyway) points to the new one. I bet the attachments are on msprotege.com or somethin. I'd give it 24 hours to work itself out.

I'm impressed that the changeover has gone this smoothly so far (headbang)

ok yeah quick replys are crazy delayed for me too. I hadn't noticed it before because it doesn't seem to happen if I use the normal reply page.

edit: wait no, that quick reply went instantly. I have another one in another tab that has been sitting there for nearly a minute though.

faster DNS cache clearing

For you windows folks, go to a command prompt and type ipconfig /flushdns and that will get rid of any old cached dns info. If you're still not getting the new info you'll have to wait until this record expires from their cache.

A tip from a former DNS admin at an ISP...always drop the TTLs on your domain before you plan on any moves. That minimizes the length of time that you will have to wait for everyone to get the up-to-date DNS info.

None of my attachments are showing and everytime I try to re-upload them, the file upload fails.

Am I doing something wrong or are there still problems with the new server?
