Thats cuz the turbo in our DISI 2.3 Quad powered server just spooled. That was some turbo lag yesterday. The server must have been running a little rich as well. But it seems everything is in tune today so far.
 
yeah after the switch its DEFINATELY slower...

I time out more frequently when signing in or posting a response.

most of the time only half of the thread pages load.

I have to click links to forums/threads/thread pages multiple times before the page will move (otherwise Im sitting for minutes and then it times out on me)

links on the right hand side are in and out in terms of usability. its a guessing game as to whether or not it will send me to a blank page.

as of today, I actually prefer the OLD server... atleast with those issues, activity was still possible. Right now Im getting soo many frustrating issues its rediculous. Are you still tinkering with the server causing increased load on the system? or is this what should be expected?

on the upside early morning ran SMOOTH AND FAST but that was before traffic started arriving...

Still seems the same for me (of course I am at work right now). Yesterday I was getting a lot of timeouts and the such and had the same problem as Big1ham with the links in the right hand column.

Haven't tried to upload any pics yet but I am still coming up with missing attachments.
 
If you are missing attachments there is an easy fix. Check the link for the thread missing the attachments. If it says http://www.msprotege(or one of the other old ones).com /forum/blah blah blah just replace the msprotege w/ mazdas247 in the address bar and it should show up :)
 
It's running pretty smooth now compared to about an hour and a half ago.
 
simmer down boy... i just realized that. I meant more along the lines for peoples who posted attachments in a thread and the attachment links arent showing...but then I realized the attachments come up blank anyways....dont ******* sass me
 
Yeah, some of my uploaded files work, some don't. I can't find any ryhme or reason to it. Just sitting back, waiting for the dust to settle from the server conversion.
 
Attachments are fixed.
If you have any problems with some uploaded files, let me know, because they are all supposed to work now!

The pictures that I uploaded today aren't loading. I also went trough and tried other files that are in my User CP that I had uploaded a long time ago and most of them do not work either.
 
Link me to one of those images, cause this works for me & I'd like to figure out the problem.
 
People are still having a lot of issues posting new threads.. just kinda timing out and going to a blank white page. I haven't tried posting a new thread since the new server but I know it has been an ongoing problem for a month or two now.. there's at least one thread about it in the website help/feedback forum.
 
I'm having no problems new server is KICKY FAST!

They all seem to be working now. Must have been and intermittant problem.
