I was in vegas last year when SEMA was going on. I flew in on the last day, and I went right there from the airport (well almost lol). Anyways, I was met with horrifying disappointment when I learned I could not get in without the whole business aspect. I actually stood outside with a $50 bill in my hand yelling out to pass holders getting on busses that would whisk them to their hotels, never again setting foot back inside the floor I so desperately needed to gain access to! They were leaving, on the last day... they had no use for their passes anymore right? WTF no one would hand over their lanyard pass thing for $50 f*ing dollars! What the hell? So I had to suffice with looking at all the cars outside. They alone were enough to cream over several times... but I wanted to jump in front of a bus full of non-deserving don't give a s**** just by thinking what could have possibly awaited me inside. If anyone could get me into SEMA 06, you would be my hero.
