So, many people are selling their MP3s so soon. I hope it is sincerely because they can not keep it, rather than because they are on to the next hot item. Depreciation is worst during the first year of ownership of any car.
If you look at it on a longer term, say 3-5 years, our cars will hold their value extremely well. Think about this: what 1998 car can you get equipped from the factory like ours for say... $15,000? None. The MP3 will probably be worth more in 3 years than it will in the next 1 year until they are totally sold out and the market is flooded with over-priced, less equipped cars from Hyundai, Mitsubishi, and other less reputable manufacturers.
