I thought about it. I'm moving to Berkeley so won't need a car. Zipcar will be my friend! I also got an insurance quote from State Farm, $308 a month. I can't afford that.

I think I have a buyer so I can breathe a little now.

I should have a good record. I got a speeding ticket, but I was able to get out of it(faulty equipment) and just paid the court/lawyer fees.

How could you get such a good price?

let just say I have many friends in the insurance industry. my wife and I pay for 2 cars 1400 per year, with me having 2 points and 2 accident (both not my fault but it's in my record), so i think you can do much better. Also, i don't have full cover but I have 25/50 instead of the usual 15/30, uninsured motorist, plus more I don't remember.
