SOLD *** 2002 CDN Specs Proteg5
Hello again everyone!

I've had the P5 for over 3 years now, still had the original rotors and pads (90000km of mostly highway use). I noticed that lately something didn't feel right in the back, so went to the dealer to have a look. I knew the front rotors/pads needed to be replaced, but never knew about the rear : they were seized. Brakes were applied all the time in the rear, that's why it had such a nice shade of blue (...), and a fuel mileage that was getting even worse.

FYI, I'm told this is a problem with our cars.

Anyway, I replaced the rotors and pads on all 4 corners ($815...ouch). Found cross-drilled rotors for the front at $75 each (see photo), at the Chambly Mazda dealer.

wow that looks really good!, i always see those on ebay but never thought of buying them, it looks really good.

Thanks to you both.

Yes, they DO look great. They are still in the "break-in" period so I don't know yet if they are more effective, which is why I bought them.

If they prove to be more effective than the stock ones, when it comes time to replace them, I'll buy a set and have them cadmium plated or something in that line, they already show signs of rust...grrr!
