Sedan rear window tint size

I got some of that no-adhesive, static cling tint film to try my hand at tinting my windows myself. After some practice I have it figured out. However, the tint comes in 26" lengths and I don't know how to fit one piece of it on the rear window of my sedan.

Do I have to get larger film (ie. not from autozone) or am I missing something (like heating or stretching to fit.

I found some 30" tint on the internet from somewhere for a decent price but the static cling stuff works really well, and can help if I run into legal problems.

I'd just pay someone to do the back window. If you can do the sides, you'd still be saving a lot of money....that's just what I'd do. I've heard doing a back window is extremely difficult, and I have heard that at least with the normal tint, pro shops have to heat it so it'll lay down correctly.

But I also understand where you're coming from with being able to take it off easily if you need to....

whats a good price t o get the windows of a mazda miata tinted? checked out this place and they said 110 with a lifetime warranty? that a good deal or am i better off tryin it myself?

i paid 240 for a metallic tint w/ warranty on all 5 windows. they had regular tint starting at 120 and up for a 4door car. its really easy to tint a flat window, but the rear windshield has a curve to it and makes it a whole lot harder to get even. plus the diy tints suck and always bubble up. if anything, id just get the rear done and do the side windows yourself...you'll spend more on the diy tint trying to get it to look right than if you just had a pro do it the 1st time.

i've paid 220 for the 2000 protege sedan back in 2002.
so, for miata, half the size, half the prize. sounds about right.
