Seatbelt Reminder

Has anyone done the temporary disable for the seat belt reminder. Ever time i try it never seems to work. If it has worked for you could you please advise on the proper steps. Thanks

ya the temporary thing doesnt work for me either. i guess i'll go to the dealership and have them turn it off along with TPMS.

me too. So whats up with the TPMS does that need to be reset by the dealer after activation??? Why are you turning that off?

Why would you not want to wear your seatbelt? Is it really that big of a deal? I dont think its worth risking your life, but I guess to each his own.

It's not the point of not wearing it, it's just the annoying noise if you put it on after you start the car or take it off before you shut it down. Or if you have to get out of the car while it's running or something.

I know whether I'm wearing my seatbelt or not. I don't need some little chime to tell me.

seatbelt reminder is annoying!

Hey all - from day one when I bought my car, that stupid seatbelt reminder scared me cause it is so loud!!! I realize it is a safety feature, and that's great and all, but it still annoys the heck out of me cause it's SO LOUD!! I read over those steps to disable it that someone posted, but I don't understand them...any more simple instructions???

even the directions in the manual dont work...going to the dealership to get it done.

Ah, I see. I guess I would be pretty annoyed too.
