Seat Belt Extender

Hi,

Has anyone purchased a seat belt extender for their CX-9? I need one for our middle seat on row 2. I have three car seats on row 2 and I need an extender just to bring the buckle up to an accessible place.

There are quite a few on eBay, but they are generic and nothing seems to be just the right size. If anyone has had success with one I'd appreciate knowing where you got it from.

Hi Graham,

I just registered on this site today in search of a fix for the same issue you asked about a while back. Did you have any luck finding a seat belt extender for the middle rear seat? If so, where did you find it. I can't find out anything from Mazda. They swore the seat belt extender OEM part would work and I told them, based on my reading from the internet, that I didn't think it would work. Sure enough, after ordering it and waiting a week, it didn't work. Geez! If you have had any luck, I'd appreciate any info.

Wait, how did the oem extender NOT WORK? if it's oem... I remember reading through my new car paperwork and it said something about Mazda will order you one for free if you request it. How would it not work, thats just donkey kong crazy.

Hi, I don't know if this has already been covered, but I require 2x seat belt extenders for a 2000 Premacy.
Our new child seats have arrived and the seatbelts in the rear are just too short. I purchased 2,seat belt extensions only to discover that they do not fit Mazdas. Mazda in the Uk, Ireland and the US were not able to help. Can anyone here?
