Anyone done it? Got around 76k and thinking about doing through vacuum hose & into the crank case...curious if anyone noticed good results or threw any codes ...

I used it just in the tank. I was having pretty bad pinging during warmup while accellerating. Used a can in a just less than full gas tank, and used 89 octane exclusively for months and it finally went away. But like you mention, you can put it in through the vacuum hose & in the oil too to speed up the process.

Anothing thing you can do is mist water into the intake to steam the combustion chamber and aid in getting rid of carbon build up. I've not actually done this though mainly out of concern for any steel (non-aluminum) parts in the throttle body that might rust from getting water sprayed onto them.

Just by putting it in the gas tank, it is getting into the combustion chamber, but is more diluted than by directly putting it into a vaccum line.

But like I said.... I solved the cold-pinging just by 89 octane and once can.
Now, I alternate 87 on one fillup, 89 on the next.

It just can't take 87 and be problem free unfortunately.
