Whenever sitting in traffic I wish I had one of these and think that in certain situations it would be a useful way to communicate with other drivers. Although I know I'd have to control myself not to swear or make some smarky remarks to some dumbasses.

I'm going to look around, but does anyone know of hand of any places that have them, programmable ones that could fit in the back window of our P5s without taking up too much room?

It would also serve as an ever changing "bumper sticker" saying great things like "Not going anywhere for a while? Have a snickers and get off my ass" during heavy traffic:D

i dont know where they are sold, but those things are hella cool, i used to have to program ours at work, fun times.

I think I have found what you need. Awhile ago I got a catalog from StreetGlow, who produces auto neon (in case you didn't know), and I recall seeing an ad for an upcoming release for 2003. The new item was a liscence plate frame that contained a scrolling marquee on the bottom, that could be programmed from inside the car. I thought that thing was bad ass, but eventually I forgot about it and lost interest. Maybe you should check out their site and see what they got, and whether it was ever produced.

Good luck,
Chandler

Usually places like Sam's club has the Marquees like that for sale. Might want to check out there.

I recalled I once saw something like that in a magazine.... Audio Electronic? I think? This Dental Surgen has this black M3, hooked it up to the max, and he has a scrolling marquee hidden behind his rear license plate, activiated via a remote switch from inside the license plate will fold down and uncover the marquee scroll display where he will then type in his message via a keyboard from inside of the car. All custom installed and it's a little different than what everyone else here is refering to....

Humm.... I really couldn't think of the actual release date of the issue I read it from, humm.... not much help to you here I guess.... I'll try look for the issue I might have saved it....
