For 23 Gs I would also buy a WRX and learn how to do that Makkinen side-ways thing during the winter....

But it's only going to be around those prices for a couple months while the EVO 8 rush goes a bit away, and they get the new WRXs (though I already saw Subaru's new WRX print Ad in Import Tuner mag....)

Both of the guys I work with got their WRXs for under $23,000 that was almost a year ago too.

if that SRT-4 had the MSP's looks, handling, wheels, steering wheel, shift nob, power windows, sound system, and track record then I would sell my MSP right now and go buy an SRT-4 without even test driving. But it doesnt so have fun with your SRT-4... The grass is always greener on the other side.

Looks - definitly does't have that going for it as only the black looks decent becuse it hides most of the cars features.
Handling - It has the MSPs handling maybe only slightly less.
Wheels - I could live with or wihtout eiher. Neither are great or terrible.
Track Record - The MSP has no track record, it been available for less then 6 months.
Windows - The fronts are atleast power. The rears are an interesting case.

I haven't looked a lot into the srt-4 but how does it distinguish from the other neons in term of look? is just the hood different?

come on guys! It's a NEON!!! I can't believe only one person here realized I was joking.

Sorry to those that own one, but it's just not for me. Quality is a huge thing for me, and the Neon's just don't have it. I don't care if it had 300hp, it's just not for me. I've driven too many of them, friends, rentals, etc etc, and ....ummm....crap.

I never meant for the joke to go on this long, but I got tied up with other things so I couldn't post until now.

I meant to do this on April fools, but my internet was all f'd up yesterday, and well....come on, no one believes anything they read on April 1st

I must say, i was expecting some people to have a much harsher reaction to it. I got really cool, sensible, mature responses that I wasn't expecting....wow.

As for the window thing....I wouldn't ever pay 30 grand cdn for something I had to roll up the windows in.

I saw the srt4 on C & D the weekend. Not bad, but once they showed the interior, it was typical Dodge. And that shifter was....UGLY and Cheap. But, at LEAST it has something called a BOOST GAUGE!!!! HELLO????MAZDA????

Anyhow, don't hate me guys. It was just a joke, and don't worry, I'm still trying to get into a speed, and still trying to fix the clunk situation ( got another phone meeting Friday actually )

I know of no arg#7. I said nothing about the Aerio. That looks ok to me. It's all personal preference, anyway. The fact that there are rear crank windows in the Neon, is pretty sad, however. That's just plain cheap. There really is no good excuse that Dodge did that. No arguing that badboy power of the SRT-4, though. Doesn't interest me. I don't care that the SRT-4 has more hp; or the fact that it might be more easily modded. I didn't buy my new car so I can begin modifying it, trying to gain another 30 or so, horsepower.
