You guys have got to see this. Sentra - MP3 comparison
It's the web page that Nissan has to show the SE-R advantages over the MP3. I just thought that some of the comparisons were a little Ridiculous. What advantage does the AM/FM radio have over ours??? Power Steering??? Two wheel disk brakes??? I know that the SE-R has a stronger engine, but I think they are reaching a bit here. They even showed the 2.0 Protoge picture instead of the MP3.
Here is the list incase the link above didn't work.

Those all sound like very reasonable comparisons if you ask me other than the stupid AM/FM radio, windshield wipers, and power steering type stuff.

Don't worry, be happy in your choice of car. I would take the MP3 any day in a handling test!! The Spec V will also have some bugs to work out on it according to SCC, but expect a very nice aftermarket for that baby once its out and about!!

Remember, the MP3 is limited, where as the Spec V you should see quite a few of.

heh.. being such a mean person and all.. I wrote Nissan. Not really being mean, but here ya go..
I saw the comparison between the Spec V and the Mp3. I own an Mp3, and found the comparison incorrect. If you are going to compare an Mp3 with this car, but not show the correct picture for one. Well, maybe you knew what you were doing, because the Mp3 looks much better than the Spec V. You are displaying a picture for a regular protege. Next, Maybe for $1021 more you could get Racing Hart Rims + Dunlop tires(over $2000), Racing Beat Exhaust System, and more. Of course we get all the power windows, power locks, (Yes, we have power steering too!). And, instead of having AM/FM radio, we have that AND an Mp3 player (with a 10" subwoofer). Cool huh? Anyway, I'm just letting you know that if I was a perpective car buyer I would be extremely offended at the falseness in the comparison between these two cars. You might have been able to compare the car to a Protege, but not an Mp3 Protege. I'm sure Nissan has better things to do then listen to people like me, but get your facts straight because it could cost you sales. And we thought it was quite funny reading your comparison on our Mp3 Forum.
Okay, so I am in just a bit of a troublemaking mood. Just having fun. heh
The spec V actually costs $17,539.00 not $16,999. Geez, they don't even know what car they are comparing themselves.

good reply mp3chikn. glad someone set the record straight. as far our car looks better and i dont have 5 of them next to me in a parking lot.

"Zoom Zoom Zoom"

That's pretty unprofessional.

Someone ought to send the link to this thread to Nissan.
