saw the saddest thing the other day...

:
Mazda 6i Charcoal Grey
passed by a suzuki dealership and saw a silver ms3 on the lot. WHO THE HELL WOULD TRADE IN THEIR MS3 FOR A SUZUKI??????? (smash)

Probably bought from a wholesaler or auction, or traded in by a parent after finding out how fast the car was!

Isn't Suzuki a sub company of Toyota or something? My guess is that they got it from another dealership and placed it there to get people to see the dealership. :)

Or, considering now days, gas cost and mpg straight and simple.

"Get a mentle image of how stupid the AVERAGE person and then realize that 50% of the people in the world are stupider than that." (blowup)

No, Suzuki is independent. They have had some joint ventures with GM in the past. Currently the Suzuki XL7 is built on GM's Theta Platform (Equinox/Torrent/Vue/XL7) @ the CAMI plant in Ontario.

ohhhh...it's CANADIAN produce! no WONDER! (eek2)

Ha look at all the domestics, they build a lot of cars in Canada. Chrysler has Bramalea and Windsor plants. Ford has Oakville and St. Thomas. GM has Cami and Oshawa. Probably seemed like a good idea when the they were getting $1.50 Canadian per USD. Not so much anymore.

1. Couldn't afford payments on the Speed, traded it in for a Suzuki
2. Couldn't keep up with gas/insurance payments
3. Traded for one of their SUVs because of a family issue
4. Just didn't like the Speed

The MS3 is a 5-door isn't it?
I doubt any Suzuki would handle near is good as a MS3 with or without AWD. Just look at the speed6 it has AWD but doesn't handle any better than the speed3. So the AWD argument would only make sense if they lived in a climate that really benefited from AWD (snowy/ mountainous)

WRC car w/ turbo I4, AWD. And it's been doing pretty decent despite its first year in the series and Suzuki is working the bugs out of it.

I'm Thinking more along the lines of this baby.

Suzuki Sport XL7
GM Twin Turbo 3.6L that makes:
993 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque.
