Saw a new 2010 MS3 in Silver today...

Man this car is hot in person and at speed. Saw a silver one on MA 495S with CT plates. Apologies to the owner. I was chasing him from 117 to when he got off at 290W, while literally gawking at the damned thing because it looked so damned sexy. Looks like a little race/sports car hunkered down against the road. I had to drive at 80+ just to keep up with it in our Mz5. It was so hard not to stare at it. So unique and impressive looking compared to other cars on the road. All the criticism around the nose and the tail-lamps is really unfounded- especially when you see one in action.

Made me want one so bad- I was a giddy as a school girl. My wife thought I was NUTS.

I have yet to see another 2010 Speed3 in person, but I do know that when I first saw the one I eventually bought, it looked so much better in person than in pics (I had every intention of buying an '09 when I showed up at the dealer). I imagine that's true of all the colors, but honestly I still don't like the front end of the regular 3's.

In the last week I've had two people compliment my car at stoplights, and I get looks quite often. It's really kind of crazy to think that I'm driving a car that for many will be the first one of its kind that they'll ever see. Won't last forever, but I'm enjoying the hell out of it right now.

I went to get Pizza yesterday and there were some folks breaking their necks to take a look at it. Even got the headlight flash from a guy in a regular (older) 3.

Saw a beatiful black one on Trapelo rd. Waltham MA and I know he saw me too
but did not have a chance to wave (hand)
