satin paint.

A good body shop will have no problem fixing you up.
Silver isn't "that" hard..but its also not The easiest.
I think any true enthusiest will know where there car has been painted and where it hasn't...the trick is making sure no one else can spot it.
(wink)

it's hard to go about finding a really good body shop in town. i've looked at about 5 places work and all of their work sucks. they always say "that's as good as it gets" or something similar when i comment on all of the flaws and such. is it that they don't spend the time to prep it right? there are tons of flaws in the clear coat. it's not really the paint, but the clear sucks.

Well, Mister. I know the owner of that car he is the owner of DC Shoes and with over 600 million in sales I am sure the car it is already paid up. Plus in that car he not only put the paint job , but he put over $150,000 more to modified the car almost 100%. So I guess your comment is just a way to express your jelousy of not been able to have a car like that and further more not having the money either to be able to modified it like that. I think you have to move your a@# off the sofa and start working long hours to get more money.(hippy)

Neat to know about egg shells, I had no idea. I was thinking of contaminants rather then physical damage from the shell. Thanks for providing that information, hopefully I never experience it firsthand. Otherwise, I fear I will go to jail, stuffing eggs down the throat of the person I catch doing it.

Now, on to "jealousy."

I don't give a rat's ass about money, or what it can buy. These material things will come and go, and that's the end of it. My point of saying what I said is that the car was paid for in full, not in payments. With play money, at that. For our OP, its not quite that simple, since I'm fairly certain the MS3 he owns is a daily driver, with payments. That was the point I was making. With toys, you can mess with them however you want. You could even drop it over a cliff, and it harms no one because it is a toy. But, do that with a car that is owned by a bank...one that you're making payments on...and its a different story altogether.
