RX-8 Wheels on a 3?

Anyone know if the 18" wheels from an RX-8 would fit on a 3? I'm pretty sure the car can handle 18's on 45 series rubber, but I'm not sure if the bolt pattern/offset of the RX-8 wheels would match. If it's possible that is definitely one thing I'd like to do to my 3 when it finally gets here. Is anyone else thinking about doing this to their 3? If anyone has pics or p/s of this that would be great. Thanks.

i think the offset will be wrong, one car is FWD and one is RWD

hmm, you think i could get the sport package and request the rx8 rims for my car instead of the 17's? Im sure i would have to pay a little more but maybe they would give me a bargain.....(uhm)

The standard rims are 16" and the sports package comes with 17". The style looks the same.

The scary thing is I like those wheels better than almost all the aftermarket wheels out there......
