Rumormill: 2012 Mazda RX-9, real or fake?

Wow...If Mazda made an exotic car...that's what it would look like...I love this rendering as well...Its only been a few days since we've heard about this car but I'm already hooked...No doubt this is going to drum up quite a bit of hype & exposure for Mazda...NICE!

Ps...Seems like the RX-9 is really going to become reality which is awesome...in that case I will setup a new forum (got a couple domains reg for possible use mazdarx-9.com or rx9mazda.com) in the near future...you can never start to early these days...

Screw the Rx-9, it's probably gonna be outlandishly priced and only rich old people will be able to buy it, just like Aston Martins and Audis. They need to bring the Rx-7 back!!!!! That has been, and always will be, my dream car (because I'll never get my hands on one, lol). I was so angry when they replaced it with the Rx-8.

Dual Clutch Transmission should be a pretty sweet combo with the Rotary - they work really well quick-revving motors, I think.

the "y" spoke wheels on the 8's and these 9's are due to a "rotor" design..

I think the car looks to much like a G35/crossfire.

No thx.. try again and make it more "sporty"

i don't think that the rx9, if it ever comes to be, will look a whole lot like the concepts. they are supposed to be building a turbo model though, so that will be a bonus.

rumor around a couple of my close friends in the epa is that it is a 1.6 so i believe that they will call it something like a 16c. and theres not just going to be one but 2 different cars.

Thats what I heard too. A new RX-8 with a 16X and a smaller Miata sized RX-9 with a 13b!!

yup i have solid sources that i trust 100% so we are gonna see a new fun little car! rumor has it that they are going to be direct injected as well.
