RSB... Who would have thought?

Got my RSB finally installed last night. Hooked it up in my buddys garage; Thanks CWPSpeed3. Only needed a 14mm and a 17mm socket and about 15 minutes of time. I really didnt know what was going to happen with this mod. I am so used to just going to coil overs and upper strut bars, never worried about beefing up the rear sway. Now I know this is a must do. Immediately we headed to a section on highway where 3 actual freeways come together and there are some nicely placed clover leaf on/off ramps and you can go from one to the other. Ussually taking these at about 55-60 on average and getting slight rotation out of the rear. Went into them last night about 5 mph faster than normal and came out 10-15 mph faster than ussual and the best thing about it, I have my winter tires on even... I can not imagine and am to excited for Spring so I can see what this will do with summer tires at temperature. For anyone looking for a cheap but substantial suspension mod, the COBB RSB is it! $165 shipped and 15 minutes time, well worth every cent!

Agreed. I installed my RSB after I had already went to coilovers so I didn't imagine it would have as much of an impact as it did. Sadly with my work schedule I have not been able to get back out to autocross since I put it on.

I honestly never thought it would make THAT MUCH of a difference. I figured it would turn in better, maybe lighten the under steer some but I am impressed. I of course have it set on "stiffest".

Bill, would you say the car steers more confidently? The thing I worried about at the Fun Run was that the car was going to understeer due to lack of traction, so I refrained from pushing the car in the conditions.

In most FWD cars a beefed up RSB makes a heckuva difference. Glad to hear you confirm that for the MS3. I'm still undecided about modding my MS3 until I get to know my dealer's service managers & techs, but RSB would be near the top of my wish list.

There is seriously no downside to getting a beefier RSB on ANY FWD car. Had one on the Civic and even before I took delivery of the MS3, I already knew the first mod I was going to do was the Cobb RSB. It's almost always the biggest bang for the buck suspension mod on a FWD car.

Glad you like it, now take it easy on those "possibly" slippery on ramps since it's winter.

IMO, no way. the front end is good as is. Plows just a bit, which to me is fine and predictable. However if you stiffen it up more, she'll plow worse. Get the rear Sway Bar and you'll now have the ability to 'rotate' the back easier and make it through the corners better.
