rr racing udp (underdrive pulley)

:
2003.5 Black P5
I'm looking to buy one of these for my p5, anyone have any comments about it? and how much extra will the belt be for the pulley?

belts I think are like 10 each or something. I'm not sure as mine were part of a package deal in a sense.

Pulley's great. Amazing gain in low-end power, especially if coupled w/a header which I see you have already. Good value for the gains.

I'll second that, I think I paid about $13 for my belt.

the cheapest I found it for was 148 shipped, anyone know where to get it lower? or can anyone get me a link for a package deal?

I read an article that states a pulley increases stress upon the engines, something about disrupting the harmonic balance....How can you proove that a pulley is safe?

ask anyone who has had a pulley on their engine for a long time, like every modded N/A car on the planet. You will be fine.

Well lets get more detailed to help this guy out...what belt does he need in order not to cause slipping, and or ******* up his belt... (boom01)

if this were true a light weight flywheel would have the same effect on out cars, which many people can attest it does not.

these engines are internally balanced.

ROFLMAO thanks D.

I have the pulley but I don't know the diameter compared to stock. Honestly the underdrive part only gives you about 10-15% of the gain. The vast majority comes from the lighter pulley. And damn is the stock heavy!

^^^so..how's the AC and the alternator and water pumps running now? Lookin to buyin this in the next 48 hours. Any problems w/ lights dimming? Any problems at all?

Good question....I have my doubts on the pulleys, but everyone is praising them..I am curious about this too

It slows down most of the acessories, including the alternator, so you are going to notice maybe a hint a power loss, in maybe rolling up the windows. The guys at RR stand by there products, and I have heard of no one screwing there car up with these.

WHEN YOU PUT MODS ON A CAR EXPECT THINGS TO GET ****** UP!
