I found this quote by RPM on the TOProtege forums. I haven't really had a lot to say about this manifold and respect any craftsman who is working hard to make a new product but this kinda ticked me off!
For your information RPM, my manifold performs much better than stock and is not just a better looking version of the stock manifold. I am also quite sure from our dyno result it will perform at least as well as your pile of spaghetti and it will not crack the way yours will with all those thin slices of tube grafted into the design. If you take a look at the close up pics of my manifold you will also see what a weld is supposed to look like when done by a true artist like Chris my welder. I can clearly see that your welds are done too cold for a start (crack). Anyone buying one of these should delete the ceramic option because it is difficult to fix the welds when you have to grind off the coating first. If you really wanted to make a nice tubular you would have done better to copy the MAM version which to my mind is a very nice design and is arranged so that expansion will happen in such a way that it won't be trying to pull itself apart like your version
RPM I suggest you show a little more courtesy toward someone who has never said a bad word against you despite you being on here selling product without AV status.
TRE is a east coast company that has been making intake manifolds for years. mostly for race cars chevy and ford. Here a good link of one ex. on ebay. I'll try to find a better one.

obviously mazdaspeedpower is going to be a little biased though also, seeing as it's his car that the RPM mani was tested on, at least thats what i gather from the thread on the other forum. personally i think regarding looks that steed's is definitely up there with mam. if i'm paying hundreds of dollars for a performance part, it would be nice if it looked kick ass at the same time. but the gains from the RPM mani seem to be pretty good for everything else being stock.
mazdaspeedwerx said:so are you going to prduce some manifolds or is this just a one shot deal? also do you have some pics of the mani complete? are you able to put a t-3 flange on there? whats the cost?
