Roush vent gauge mount!

im in... AGAIN!!! just cuz im extremly interested and it is a good spot if we can do without modding things... cuz some ppl out there (like me) suck at doing moddings like these... i would rather spend the cash :-)

I dont mind spending the cash...or f$#king things up...but i am still in....(hi)

Do you guys know whether of not the paint is available "over the counter" for the lip around the outer diameter? It looks like it has a slight gold/tan tint to it. Making the pods is the easy part. Matching that color may prove to be more difficult. I don't want any discernable mismatch here.
Any help/comments here is greatly appreciated. ;)

hmmm ima go look around online see if any one/site knows what color code it is... if not you could always try and call up a mazda dealership or something, see if they have a part number possibly...

Yeah, I suppose the dealer should be able to give me a color code or WA number or something. I doubt it'll be a problem matching it.

Thanks Munnugles! ;)

ya i looked around online but i couldnt find anything on interior color codes for the ms3... i seem to have ended up finding it for probes, s14, and ferrari tho lol...

so is the pod going to be made Elbows-High? just wondering, especially since im in a debate between now a dashhawk and a aeroforce guage... and would really like a guage pod to go with an aeroforce

I'm still looking at the details of the design. There are a couple of issues that need to be addressed before I can absolutely commit to making VentPods for this carline. Complexity in the tool drives the cost up fast. If this thing can be a straight-up mold with no action in it, the case is easier to make for going to production. Give me a few days to look this thing over and brainstorm a bit. ;)

Okay, I've come up with two options for the design. I'm going to have my prototype source grow a unit this week. I'll report back when I've fitted it in our test car (thanks Aaron!). I should be able to get some pics then. ;)

Sorry guys. I've been focusing on another product for the past couple weeks (still working on it), and I haven't been able to fit this one in....yet. Hang in there. I'm not letting this one fall off the table. ;)
