Hey wait a second, if zinc coating them will help stop rust in the slots and holes then maybe I should have gotten that done. Anything to stop some rust would be good right. I thought you could turn these rotors....

Ok, just to be clear..


The crossdrilled holes, and the slots will rust if I don't have the zinc coating... and will remain rusted because nothing comes in contact with them... is this correct?

and if so.. then zinc coating is a must.. cause then we're only saving $10 bux...

also.. these rotors cannot be resurfaced/grinded.. right?

as well.. can I use the ebay shipping calculator to determine shipping costs?
or is it being shipped from different location?

Just so you know ... the zinc coating is nothing special ... it will keep the holes from rusting as quickly ... but like i said before driving the car once and stopping will clean the surface of the rotor without any issues. Even if you get the zinc coating the holes and slots will still fill with brake dust which will eventually rust. Dont worry about it so much, just clean them off about once a month and they will be beautiful. I had a set of Brembo drill / slots on my other car and i had them turned twice. Shouldnt be an issue with these, to my knowledge.

you don't even have to make a stop,and it will clear the rust.your pads are always slightly in contact with your rotors.
