I'm going to do brakes on my girlfriend's 05 3i. Any recommendations for aftermarket rotors? I just bought Brembos for my Protege and they were actually cheaper than standard OEM replacements.
 
aftermarket rotors are fine. brembo blanks are probably your best bet. i like them better than oem rotors. now with pads i would stick to stock, or get a really good pair of aftermarket pads. like hawk 9012s they're awesome but noisey. but if its for your girlfriends car she probably wants quiet brakes. so i would just stick with stock.
 
yeah i would say the quieter the better lol, its not like shes at the track day in and day out.

If you are looking for a replacement rotor, the Centric C-tek Rotors are a good choice.
