Rotors, pads and associated hardware - 2019 CX-5 Turbo

:
2019 CX-5 Signature Soul Red Crystal Metallic
Hey guys,

I'm going to be in for replacing the pads/rotors on my 2019 soon (i'm at 69,000km's) so I'm starting to think of purchasing some of the hardware now so that when it comes time to having the job done, it won't be quite as expensive (just pay for the labour).

I'm wondering what everyone's suggestions are here? I'm not looking for anything performance based. The OEM pads/rotors have served me very well and have done me quite well.

Any suggestions for my 2019 Turbo would be great.

PS, I'm in Canada, so not sure if that might change the suggestions.

Thanks!

I like Akebono pads with Centric rotors. OEM works great too if you can get a good price.

No need for new rotors unless you've got pulsing or uneven wear/cracking on the rotors/pads (scoring on the rotors). Or unless you just want clean, rust-free rotors or the look of drilled/slotted rotors.

You can check RockAuto for parts and prices, or PartsAvatar.ca for a Canadian alternative. I haven't used PartsAvatar yet, but looks like they have Raybestos and Bosch pads for $90-110 (front and rear). They also have Centric coated front rotors for about $100 each and coated rears for about $45 each. There's lots of other cheaper brands as well that I'm not familiar enough with to recommend. A bonus with PartsAvatar is that there is a free shipping option that you should be able to take advantage of.

Alternatively, you can go to a store like Piston Ring and ask if they stock any of the above parts and see if they can price match or beat prices.

I used Powerstop CRK8068 coated rotor brake kit (pads & rotors) for the rears, and Bosch BC 1711 quietcast pads on the front. Got them both on Amazon (Canada).
They were excellent. Still looked like new when I sold the car earlier this spring. No rust on the rears, unlike OEM crap.
