Still the brakes dont work well when there're hot, at least from my experience. Car companeis woulnt supply cars with drilled/slotted rotors if they werent any good.

Oh, yes they would! Just like they'd stick bigger and heavier wheels on a car in cases where it does not help the performance any.

Pretty much any street driven car (and most of our cars that go on the track) don't benefit noticably from drilled/slotted rotors. It's pure bling - bling that I like, but it's bling nonetheless. :D

I dont think so, I have the drilled/slotted rotors and there deff way better over stock blanks. So have you had anything else but blanks to be sure of your statement?

I can say that my stoppind distance has dropped BIG time sense I put on the D/S rotors. They really help in rush hour traffic and you have to hit the breaks hard because the b**** in front of you is doing her makup insted of watching the car in front of her lol. Get them, you wont be disappointed.

I've used Brembo slotted myself for ~2 years on different cars, which were still happy to fade on a downhill run a month ago just the same as OEM does. :P

Besides that, the Miata forum in NorCal alone has track days about 1-2x a month, and AFAIK almost everybody has migrated to using solid blanks. Of the ones that haven't that I've spoken to, none of them say it helps braking - they just like how it looks with their bigger brakes, heh. Also, here are a few links on the subject.

Cliff's notes: The general conensus is that you need to have pads designed to outgas heavily to get any advantage from the crossdrilling, and not many modern pads do that. Besides that, said pads would be dedicated track pads that would never reach operating temps on the street. Probably wouldn't reach operating temps even on the track, unless our cars are pushing over 300-400whp. :)

Slotted might see an advantage for first-stop braking in the wet, and for keeping the rotors clean over the long term with the grooves. No real increase in braking power for normal driving, though. There's a few hundred threads going back to 1999 on the subject. In general though, rotors won't help - though it won't really hurt braking, either. Aftermarket pads have a huge influence on braking power/fade, along with keeping clean brake fluid in the system. SS lines can have a noticable effect on the pedal feel, too... at our tech days we're slowly replacing everybody's brake lines, lol.
