I sent him an email to post here, but no love.CustomMSP said:Turned out to be a very informative thread! I think the change would be a little different for every car. We should ask Micaspeed for some numbers.
Good question...It's probably possible, not by much though. I think this mod makes it harder on the steering pumpBoOsTiN said:Can this be used to create possitive camber by rotating the opposite direction? Say if I were to install lowering springs and rotate these in the other direction, would this help even out the camber?
Why do you say that?CustomMSP said:Good question...It's probably possible, not by much though. I think this mod makes it harder on the steering pump
Because of the way the tie rods are positioned. I did a full sweep from lock to lock after I rotated the bearings and there seemed to be more resistance towards the end of rotation in each direction. The steering wheel doesn't stay in the locked possition, it just wants to straighten back out a little like it does when the car is moving. I don't think it was like that when the bearings were in stock position.Kooldino said:Why do you say that?
It depends on what position it is in now. If you have the hole on the inside then yes, rotating it will make your camber 1 degree more positive. If the hole is towards the outside, then rotating it will move you 1 degree more negative. (There are 4 positions -Camber-Caster, -Camber+Caster, +Camber-Caster, and +Camber+Caster)BoOsTiN said:Can this be used to create possitive camber by rotating the opposite direction?
