I need to play this game (hell, I haven't even played GT4 yet). I'm curious to see how accurate they've depicted RA.

It's lots of fun to drive RA in real life. Watch out for turn 7 - it has teeth .

gt4 wasnt all that great... I mean it was fun and all but I havent played it in 2 weeks now. It gets old QUICK.

i didnt feel i was getting my money out of the subscription

Yeah man, Road Atlanta is one of my favorite courses in the game. I really wish the had Barber in there, but oh well. BTW, don't invest any money into a corvette, because when you go to race it, the Lingenfelter will just kick your ass anyway. I sunk 100,000 into the car and mods and I got waxed by the Lingenfelter in the series.

Turn one can be tricky as well, but have never had any problems. However, the little hump/"hill crest" near the turn on the straight has a tendancy to play with my depth perception making the turn look a lot worse than it is.

I like to enter it wide. I typically just "tap" the brakes going in, use a bit of the pit exit tarmac and feather/full throttle (depending on the car) up until just before the apex. There is a bit of a dip right at the apex that if lined up correctly and enough speed is had, the car will take a nice set.
