Rishie's FITMENT RECIPE

Alright, I am looking at buying a Rota Battle in 17x7.5 with a +48mm offset and using a 215/40/17 tire on a stock height MP5. Will it work?

is your car lowreed, or do you plan on lowering it? and if so, how much. +45 could be good enough for you on a P5 but it depends on the drop.

also, do you often put 4 or 5 adults in the car? weight is a major contributor to +45 offset wheels rubbing too

then a 215/40/17 tire on a 17 x 7.5 +45 offset should be fine then...

I have an MP3 with 215/35/18 +45 offset, and I am VERY low, but the sedan has a touch more clearance than the P5. besides if you don't lower at all, then even if you do rub it will be very little, and very rarely. only when you corner hard with weight in your car

Here it is again:

Protege5:

17,7 with 215/40/17: +45mm or higher
17,7.5 same tire: +48 or higher

18,7.5 with 215/35 or 40/18: +48 or higher

Sedan: 5 lug can have 3mm less spacing

So 7.5" wide can run +45 offset, or go to +48 and run a 225/35/18 for example.

Sedan: 4 lug

You guys are the luckiest and should be able to run standard +40mm offsets. The difference comes from the varying depth of the rotor "hat" between the 4 lug and 5 lug.

The difference on the MP3 and Protege5 comes from the lesser clearance in the rear fender on the P5.

Peace, Rishie

If I undertsand correctly, the +42 will, if you roll the fenders.

The +38, not a chance...
