RIP George Carlin

SUX! His unique perspective on rampant idiocy in this world will sorely missed.

:( A man that will be missed for his honesty and hilarity. Just when we needed someone like him to make us smile during these difficult times with his unique outlook on everyday life that makes it impossible not to laugh, we lose a true master of comedy. He will be missed.

Well.. At least we know he wasn't afraid.. The man could joke about anything.

Probably one of his most memorable:

More of his Genius:

:( I just read that in the news. His comedic views on the world will be sorely missed.

That really sucks :( Im glad I made it to one of his shows in my life before this. RIP :(

Wow.... he was one of my favore comedians. He will be missed. :(

I remember seeing Carlin live in Baltimore, MD with my friend who had cancer. He wanted to go and see him before he got too ill, and this might have been our last chance, so we all bought tickets and unfortunately, had one of our last great times with him seeing George before he passed away soon after.

RIP George and RIP JT...

I hope you meant fortunately, as in you got to go with your buddy to do something he really wanted to do before he passed. I have lots of experience with this stuff (you get older, more people you know die off) and you can't focus on the fact that it was the last good time with him. Just remember it as one of the good times and be glad you had it. Miss him, but remember laughing at Carlin together and smile.

yeah... :(

I got seriously depressed when I hit cnn.com last night only to read of Carlin's death. What a guy, I miss him already. Not only did I agree with 99.9% percent of what he said, but I usually laughed so hard my head hurt. There will NEVER be another George Carlin and thank 'God' he made so much good material over the course of his career. Now it's time to pick up that DVD set. RIP.
